Welcome to WER's player of the year award. After many polls, votes, and debates among our staff, we have decided upon a winner!!! And the player of the year award goes to.....LEO MARTE!!!!!

Following the footsteps of Jonathan 'fatality' Wendel, Leo 'Dekan Hiere' Marte has become the first person to ever go 'pro' in a MMORPG. Here are some snippets from an interview we managed to conduct after 2 months of trying to contact and meet with Leo.

WER: So Leo, how is life being a pro gamer?

Leo: I love it, everything I love to do is inside MMORPG. I heard next week they are adding support in Guild Wars to be able to eat food!

WER: So you must be busy, it took you a long time to respond to us. Tell us about your busy lifestyle.

Leo: Well, I wake up around 7 am. I then go to my pc and start playing Guild Wars, the game that requires the most skill and brain. I will play until around 11, then I will sometimes go shit and piss. I then come back and grab whatever snacks I can find on the way. I continue playing until around 4 am which is when I prefer to go to sleep.

Leo: Everyone knows in order to be on top you must practice practice practice.

WER: So, you have accomplished to do what no other person has done inside of a MMORPG. You have crossed over from fiction to nonfiction. From a video game to reality. You are living inside the game. How does this feel?

Leo: It feels great. You need no social life or education in order to be successful. Society tells you that you must have friends or a job, but I think differently.

WER: This is about all the time we have. Thank you for dong this interview with us.

Leo: *crickets*

WER: It seems as if he has left. A very dedicated gamer he is indeed.

*A week later, interview conducted in Leo's room. The mood is subtle, as Leo is often playing Guild Wars in between questions.*

WER: Hello everyone! Once again, we are talking to the GAMER OF THE YEAR, LEO MARTE!

WER: Leo, could you be as kind to show us around your room?

Leo: Well yes, *points there* - here is my special Guild Wars screen I payed the blind institution to build me just in case I go blind. Hmm, *points there* - here is my shit-sit-seat in case I am farming and I want to shit *Point there* here is my.....

WER: Ok, we see. Tell us what sets you apart from other MMORPGers. What has made you take the step above?

Leo: Well, I guess you could say it is my superior intelligence. I was a genius as a boy, and I continue to broaden my mind each and every day.

WER: What else sets you apart from the typical MMORPGers? Could you give some tips to the other players?

Leo: Always be cool, act better than the rest. Act like you do cool things. If you make a mistake, say you are 'high' Talk about your extensive weed smoking sessions that you have on a daily basis.

WER: Can we take a peek into your character from your pc screen?

Leo: NO. No Can do. I have to respect the prophecy. Otherwise I shall not be part of the history of the revelation of Guild Wars.

WER: We see a Quake 4 box in your corner...what is the story about..

Leo: A moment of adrenalin that was!

WER: What do you think of news of NCSoft releasing Guild Wars 2 only in Japan due to lack of sales?

Leo: Oh, hehe, I have never thought they would release the news to ordinary users like you so fast. It does makes me very angry, but being me, I have started to pick up Japanese quickly. Expedia has already managed to get me a hotel room with broadband in Japan for myself to be able to play Guild Wars 2. Until the release of it in America that is. Domo arigato gozaimasu!

WER: *looks up word*

WER: That means 'I am gay' in japanese.

Leo: Oh. Not as I had thought.

WER: We are sad to hear the news that your mother has passed away. Were you able to keep your gaming status during this harsh time?

Leo: Yes I was able to fortunately. My brothers told me that the funeral was good, so I am happy about it. I have also bought a bigger and newer monitor since then with a donation from my aunt.

WER: Looking up you're past, Koreans have been able to manage to tell us news about you once playing 'Priston Tale' Could you explain us why you have switched from Priston Tale to Guild Wars?

Leo: Roar! A new level of confidence, is all I can say.

WER: Time is running short! Now it is time for any listeners to call in! Thats right! You could talk to Leo Marte!!

WER: Wilson Junior on the air with Leoooooooooooooo Marte!!!

Wilson: HEY LEO I HAVE BEEN FOLLOWING YOU AND I HAVE BEEN LIKE STALKING YOU SO BADLY AND

Leo: Shut The Fuck Up and get to the point.

Wilson: Eh... my point is, I have found a Tricious of Vi..

Leo: On Axis AB.345334.ZZZZzZ Of the map? ( It's Location ROFL )

Wilson: How did you know that??

Leo: The Tricious of Vitality highest drop rate is in that spot. With 31.002 percent on that spot and other small percentage on others spots so I thought I would start by the highest possibility on Guild Wars 1 ( America ) And Guild Wars 2 ( Japan)

WER: Thank you for allowing us to interview you Leo! We better get going. As we all know the American proverb, Time IS Money.

Leo: Time is Farming.
